Flying Dog Ranch is the premier outdoor wedding venue in Carbondale, offering an incredibly unique and scenic setting for receptions, ceremonies, rehearsal dinners or intimate gatherings. Our beautifully landscaped gardens, complete with panoramic mountain vistas, gazebos and pond offer a warm western ambiance.

A Unique Setting for Ceremonies, Receptions, and Gatherings

Entering into the gardens through the vine-covered trellis, you will discover the magical setting that will be your canvas for your wedding weekend. You are surrounded by beautiful flower gardens, paths that lead to gazebos for taking in the stunning views, a large pond and green spaces for yard games. There are two outdoor wedding ceremony sites to choose from. One has the stunning backdrop of Mount Sopris, the second a more traditional style garden setting. Both have incredible mountain views.

Our facility includes a large 25’ x 75’ reception room, which seats up to 150 guests, complete with stage for the band and dance area, a catering kitchen and a lovely botanical room (which serves as the buffet room). The large reception room is decorated with a western flair. Simple but tasteful lighting and billowing fabric ceiling are the perfect backdrop for clients to decorate according to their style. The padded furniture, which decorates the reception room for smaller events is moved into the gardens to create seating areas for your guests during larger events. The bridal ready area is private and a good getaway for couples. The entire facility and gardens are wheel chair accessible. The tables and chairs for guest seating up to 150 guests is included in the initial cost.

Each event is unique and requires individual attention. The following rates will give you general pricing guidelines, though prices may vary. Giving respect to our neighbors, guests, and our property landscape, we urge you to carpool if possible, to eliminate unnecessary traffic on our county road, and overflow in our designated parking areas. Any events serving alcohol require shuttling of guests to and from the event.

3 Days of Colorado Wedding Venue Access

Day 1: Welcome! A good day to unwind, settle in and soak up the natural beauty. Friends and family will enjoy the relaxed setting and accomplish tasks such as decorating, set up, centerpieces and yard games. Whatever is on the list! Perhaps a quick game of corn hole!
A walk through rehearsal of the ceremony, followed by a cocktail reception or small rehearsal dinner. You will have the peace of mind knowing that when you arrive the day of, that everything is as you envisioned it would be for the”Big Day”!

Day 2: The day you have been anticipating. Relax in the bridal studio before the ceremony. The rest falls into place!

Day 3: We ask that you have your personal items packed away by 3 pm.

Basic Wedding Package

This package allows for the same 3-day access, is geared towards the DIY couples, who do not require the services of the on site wedding planner. Hours can always be booked with our planner. Up to 150 guests.

Stress-free Wedding Package

Allow our extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist you in planning an event you and your guests will always remember. This package allows for the 3- day access, but also includes the services of our on site planner. Price is dependent on the extent of the services needed. Up to 150 guests.

$150.00 per hr for planning hrs / $250.00 day of coordination hrs.

Small Wedding Package

For those who have 50 guests or less. You have the same 3-day access as the Basic & Stress-free packages.

Considering a summer or fall wedding, but don’t want the planning hassle or crazy overhead of a traditional wedding. Think elopement! Elopements have become a very popular alternative to traditional weddings. They are held on weekdays!

They are 2-3 hrs in duration. 1-10 guests $2,200.00
